Facilities Engineer (Data Center)

Salary: $75,000–$95,000 annually

What you will do

• Oversee installation, capacity augmentation, maintenance, and preventive maintenance for assigned facilities and network infrastructure.
• Coordinate purchasing, repairs, cabinet installations, service cross-connections, and routine maintenance for facility assets.
• Manage internal resources, contractors, and vendors across existing facilities, new construction, and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare monthly common-system capacity reports and maintain facility and asset documentation in the SP Marketplace.
• Coordinate with Network Design Engineering, Facilities leadership, department managers, and project managers on scopes of work and project delivery.
• Participate in emergency response as Essential Personnel, assist with field installation when needed, and join the on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Experience with major network infrastructure components and facilities operations.
• Understanding of power and grounding principles, HVAC systems, and UPS architecture fundamentals.
• Ability to follow site access procedures and oversee end-to-end installation, testing, turn-up, and maintenance activities.
• Ability to manage budgets and comply with formal bidding and procurement processes.
• Availability for emergency response and on-call rotation.
