Salary: $74,551–$151,132 starting wages, depending on compensation grade; compensation range up to $151,132.50

What you will do

• Plan, research, evaluate, design, configure, install, and analyze the performance of telecommunications network systems.
• Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, documentation, dashboards, and change-management activities.
• Conduct site visits, validate technical drawings, troubleshoot equipment, support system turnups, and plan fiber installations.
• Serve as the field-based telecommunications subject matter expert and provide technical guidance on equipment installation practices.
• Coordinate field activities, vendors, material deliveries, stakeholders, and cross-functional project teams.
• Support capital projects, operational reliability, maintenance initiatives, and storm restoration planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, telecommunications, or a related field, with experience requirements varying by compensation grade.
• Equivalent associate’s degree or high school diploma/GED with progressively higher relevant work experience may be accepted.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of communications technologies, inter-networking principles, telecommunications systems, systems integration, and network architecture.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and process-improvement skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Occasional travel and field-based work may be required.
