Data Center Construction - Mid to Senior Project Manager (Low Voltage/ML Racks)

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States; local support required with 4–5 days onsite, or onsite attendance as client needs change.

Salary: $110,000–$155,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

What you will do

• Manage the full scope of data center construction projects while supporting components of additional projects.
• Lead teams and mentor project staff while managing schedules, scope, budgets, risks, contingencies, and recovery plans.
• Manage design platforms and documentation in Autodesk and Procore, including design packages, compliance, schedules, and drawing QA/QC.
• Coordinate design across engineering, architecture, contractors, general contractors, and other project partners.
• Oversee construction administration, including meetings, submittals, RFIs, site walks, mock-ups, and coordination with engineering partners.
• Manage change coordination, cost impact reviews, invoicing, collections, and client design integration.

Requirements

• 4+ years of construction project management experience and a strong understanding of building design and construction.
• Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline.
• 2+ years managing critical-environment construction projects such as data centers, laboratories, or hospitals.
• 3+ years of telecommunications, low-voltage, and fiber-optics construction project management experience.
• Experience overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning of structured cabling, low-voltage networks, and ultra-high-density AI/ML compute infrastructure with 40kW–100kW+ per rack.
• 2+ years of MEP experience in ground-up construction, plus strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills.
