Multi-Qualified Operator (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Hope, Arkansas, United States; on-site at the Hope production facility

What you will do

• Operate continuous and batch production facilities safely, reliably, and efficiently.
• Follow standard operating procedures to produce finished products that meet internal and external customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot operational and quality issues, investigate incidents, and implement actions to prevent recurrence.
• Sample, test, and analyze finished products against specifications.
• Perform real-time data entry in MES, SAP, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Perform minor maintenance, preventive maintenance activities, and bulk or liquid raw-material unloading.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar industrial manufacturing operation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, climbing, lifting and carrying up to 55 pounds, and wearing a respirator.
• Ability to perform arithmetic accurately, interpret instructions, make decisions under stress, and adapt to changing responsibilities.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays, and overtime as needed.

Nice to have

• Forklift operator experience and computer skills.
• Post-secondary vocational or technical training.
• Strong organization, multitasking, data analysis, and recommendation skills.
