Production Shift Supervisor (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: McIntosh, Alabama, United States; unrestricted right to work in the United States required

Company

hirify.global Corporation operates the Advanced Materials Division and chemical manufacturing facilities.

What you will do

• Supervise production employees and ensure compliant, efficient operation of process units and utility systems.
• Maintain safety, Process Safety, environmental, quality, and operating standards across assigned areas.
• Manage work assignments, training compliance, employee development, coaching, performance reviews, and corrective actions.
• Achieve production targets while maintaining accurate shift logs, process metrics, records, and reports.
• Act as Incident Commander during emergencies, support incident investigations, and ensure incident reports are completed.
• Coordinate materials, supplies, contractors, overtime, engineering interfaces, shift meetings, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 5 years of full-time experience in a directly related role, or an associate’s degree in Process Technology, Operations Management, or a related discipline plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• Seven years of full-time operating experience in a related field may substitute for an associate’s degree.
• Experience working shifts in the chemical manufacturing industry and in a 24/7 manufacturing process environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, communication, safety, Process Safety, and environmental compliance skills.
• Must pass hirify.global’s Process Safety Technical Review within one year of assignment.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Certification.
