NC Operator 1 (Advanced Composites Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Operate NC machines, including Thermwood machines, and support different machines during the shift.
• Prepare, load, and unload parts and tools.
• Perform final inspections of machined parts and maintain quality standards.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs, 5-S standards, housekeeping, and customer-required records.
• Support production tasks and team decisions while maintaining constructive relationships with coworkers.
• Follow safety requirements and help maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least six months of experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Ability to operate a forklift and familiarity with PC computer systems.
• Ability to maintain or obtain and retain a quality delegate stamp.
• Good organizational and administrative skills, including the ability to prepare audit reports and non-conforming records.
