Operations Manager Alsip Central (Manufacturing)

Location: Alsip, Illinois, United States; primarily based in a production and/or warehouse setting with occasional travel.

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive plan.

What you will do

• Establish operational strategies covering safety, productivity, quality, customer service, sales, workforce, cost, and profitability.
• Lead teams in resolving daily operational issues and achieving short- and long-term performance goals.
• Monitor site metrics, including machine and labor efficiency, and use data-driven decision-making to improve results.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, change efforts, and operational excellence programs.
• Optimize site capacity and scheduling with other facilities to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Manage capital expenditure planning, annual financial plans, facilities, equipment, security, and compliance with safety, food safety, and environmental policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree desired.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading improvement efforts in production, quality, or profitability.
• Experience with change management or transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, materials movement, worker and environmental safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to lead people, build high-performance teams, develop a continuous improvement culture, and balance tactical and strategic work.
