Maintenance and Service Technician III (Cryogenic Systems)

Location: Residence-based in northeast Florida or southeast Georgia, with daily travel to customer sites and overnight travel 25–30% of the time.

What you will do

• Install, repair, and maintain cryogenic liquid and industrial and process gas supply and delivery systems.
• Service nitrogen, oxygen, argon, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, and helium systems, including pumps, high-pressure compressors, and gas generation equipment.
• Act as the primary interface with customers and communicate field requirements to management, sales, and engineering.
• Develop work scopes for equipment repairs and overhauls.
• Participate in safety programs and promote safety and environmental compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical problems.
• Knowledge of piping, regulators, valves, pumps, and compressors.
• Comfort working with de-energized circuits up to 480V and tracing instrumentation voltage and amperage.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors in all weather, work independently, and remain on call.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record; daily travel is required.

Nice to have

• Trade or technical degree, apprenticeship, or technical school training in process technology, electrical technology, industrial systems, HVAC, welding, or related fields.
• Brazing experience.
• Military experience in machinist mate, electrician’s mate, electronic technician, aircraft maintenance, or cryogenic technician roles.
