Nuclear Safety Analysis Engineers (Nuclear Safety)

Location: Amarillo, Texas, at the Pantex customer site

What you will do

• Provide nuclear facility safety technical support in accordance with 10 CFR 830 Subpart B and applicable DOE standards.
• Develop Technical Safety Requirements and support hazard identification, screening, and evaluation.
• Perform accident and consequence analysis for postulated nuclear facility accidents.
• Select engineered and administrative controls credited to prevent or mitigate accidents.
• Document analysis results in safety analysis reports, documented safety analyses, and Technical Safety Requirements.

Requirements

• Currently active DOE Q Clearance required.
• US citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• At least 20 years of documented safety analysis experience.
• Previous Pantex experience is preferred.
