Criticality Safety Consultant (Nuclear Safety)

Location: Predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington, United States, with some remote support possible when approved. Travel may be required with advance written approval.

What you will do

• Provide consulting and oversight for criticality safety within DOE Environmental Management and Hanford Field Office programs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of safety documentation.
• Support the Assistant Manager for Safety, Environment, and Quality functional area and related Hanford support services.
• Publish DOE self-service IT guides and provide service desk and troubleshooting support.
• Provide documentation, endpoint, system administration, and general program support as required.

Requirements

• 4–7+ years of IT support experience; DOE or federal experience is preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• Experience with service desk tools, Microsoft 365, troubleshooting, and Active Directory.
• Customer focus, patience, and strong documentation skills.
• Ability to work predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington.
• Facility Clearance is required; DOE clearance may be required depending on the assigned work.
