What you will do
- Provide electrical safety oversight and general support for the Hanford Field Office and DOE Environmental Management programs.
- Oversee Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) programs and contractor electrical safety activities.
- Support NFPA 70E compliance, arc-flash labeling, assessments, and investigations.
- Document and report findings, develop procedures, and communicate safety requirements.
- Provide electrical safety training and support compliance and mission assurance in a regulated nuclear cleanup environment.
- Maintain the arc-flash labeling control program and participate in approved travel as required.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of electrical safety experience; DOE or nuclear experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience with LOTO oversight, arc-flash programs, and procedure development.
- Strong safety mindset, communication skills, and vigilance.
- Ability to work predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington.
- Facility Clearance is required; DOE clearance may be required depending on the assigned work.
