Nuclear Safety Documentation Analyst (Nuclear Safety)

Location: Richland, Washington, United States; predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site, with some remote support only as approved.

What you will do

• Review and evaluate nuclear safety documentation for DOE Environmental Management and Hanford Field Office programs.
• Support safety-basis activities, unreviewed safety question evaluations, and configuration control.
• Provide recommendations that support the integrity and safety of nuclear operations.
• Support quality assurance oversight, audits, assessments, and regulator interfaces.
• Contribute to safety, environment, and quality services in a regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of nuclear safety or quality assurance experience.
• Experience with DOE nuclear facilities is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
• Knowledge of safety basis processes, USQ evaluations, audits, and QA standards.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment and technical clarity.
• Facility Clearance is required; a DOE clearance, including Q clearance, may be required depending on the work.
