Senior Manager, Realty Project Management and Design (Commercial Real Estate)

Location: Always AR Bentonville Home Office, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $80,000–$155,000 annual salary, plus performance-based bonuses; certain positions may also include stock.

What you will do

• Oversee a portfolio of remodel and adaptation projects, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and in line with business objectives.
• Develop project scopes and translate operational requirements into design and construction plans.
• Establish schedules and budgets, track milestones, and reallocate resources when needed.
• Lead design strategy and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, permitting processes, and Walmart standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners, reporting project status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Mentor project management staff and implement process improvements to increase delivery efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, civil engineering, project management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial real estate project management, construction management, or facilities design.
• Experience managing capital improvement projects, including design coordination, permitting, contractor oversight, and budget management.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with combined capital budgets.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, mentoring, and process improvement skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with retail, warehouse, or large-format commercial remodel projects.
• Experience managing projects in occupied or operating facilities.
• Experience mentoring or supervising project management staff.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Project.
• PMP, CCM, or AIA certification.
