Realty Project Coach (Construction)

Location: Akron, Ohio, United States; based at a home store with frequent travel across surrounding states and farther US locations. The role requires overnight shifts averaging 10–12 hours and being away from home 80% of the time, or 17–21 days at a time.

Salary: $60,000–$110,000 annual salary, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Own the execution of store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects.
• Deliver assigned projects on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Communicate project plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders while minimizing disruption to store operations.
• Supervise, train, mentor, and develop hourly associates, including assigning duties and recognizing performance.
• Partner with store leadership, suppliers, store team leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve concerns and escalations.
• Travel frequently to project locations, with mileage reimbursement and paid overnight stays.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field plus 1 year of relevant experience, or 3 years of relevant experience without the degree.
• Relevant experience includes project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or a related area.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to work primarily overnight shifts lasting approximately 10–12 hours.
• Ability to travel up to 1,000 miles from home and remain away from home for extended project periods.
• Successful completion of required job training and assessments is required.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Master’s degree in Business or a related field.
• Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
