Project Manager, Construction and Tenant Services

Location: Onsite at the Tysons Corner office in McLean, Virginia, with travel across the assigned property portfolio and occasional overnight trips.

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 per year plus bonus.

What you will do

• Manage landlord and tenant design, permitting, and construction processes to support target rent commencement dates.
• Coordinate construction projects from conceptual estimating through closeout for new and existing retail properties.
• Gather information for leasing, prepare conceptual estimates, and draft or review construction exhibits.
• Review and approve landlord and tenant construction drawings for compliance with lease, budget, schedule, and design requirements.
• Coordinate Federal Realty departments, consultants, tenants, third-party managers, architects, contractors, Legal, Leasing, Asset Management, and Development.
• Track project status, manage landlord work contracting and delivery, and troubleshoot design and construction issues.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of tenant coordination and/or project or construction management experience.
• Experience with the design, construction, and coordination of retail properties and projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related management field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, analytical, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and perform financial analysis and reporting of construction costs.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and willingness to travel across the assigned portfolio.

• PMP certification.
• LEED AP certification.
