Equity Analyst

Location: Onsite in Kansas City, Missouri, United States

Annual salary: $137,000–$187,500, plus eligibility for performance-based incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Conduct fundamental research on industries, companies, and publicly traded securities.
• Perform valuation analysis and develop buy/sell recommendations.
• Present investment recommendations and complex investment theses to investment teams and varied audiences.
• Monitor market, economic, policy, and company-specific developments and assess portfolio and risk impacts.
• Analyze portfolio holdings, attribution, and relative performance to identify trade opportunities and risks.
• Maintain relationships with sell-side analysts and industry contacts to support research insight and idea generation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in equity research, portfolio management, or investment analysis.
• Deep knowledge of equity markets, portfolio construction, valuation methods, and fundamental equity research.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• MBA or other advanced study.
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
