Equity Research Analyst, Impact Investing - Vice President (Impact Investing)

Location: New York, NY, United States

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and retirement contributions.

What you will do

• Drive stock selection through research coverage, investment recommendations, and idea generation.
• Conduct fundamental and sustainability due diligence on potential investments and portfolio holdings.
• Contribute to portfolio construction, position sizing, risk assessment, diversification, and exposure monitoring.
• Build financial models, perform valuation and industry assessments, and conduct primary and field research.
• Communicate with company management teams, industry experts, sell-side analysts, and internal investment colleagues.
• Report on sustainable outcomes and emerging industry trends in collaboration with Global Equity Research and Data Science groups.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of investment banking, sell-side research, or buy-side equity research experience.
• Strong fundamental research skills, including company analysis, financial modeling, valuation, and competitive assessment.
• Prior experience or a strong demonstrated interest in sustainable investing, including familiarity with relevant frameworks and terminology.
• Strong analytical, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
