Equity Portfolio Manager

Location: Chicago preferred; hybrid work with four days in-office each week in most locations. Applications from qualified candidates in other locations are also welcome.

Total annual cash compensation: $195,600–$299,916.66, including base salary and target incentive.

hirify.global provides investment research, asset allocation, investment selection, portfolio construction, and investment management services for financial advisers, institutions, and investors.

What you will do

• Manage a growth-focused U.S. equity strategy using a disciplined approach to company valuation and portfolio risk management.
• Construct and manage high-conviction portfolios, generally holding 25–50 stocks.
• Contribute to company research and the broader portfolio management process.
• Participate in peer reviews by providing feedback on prospective trades and portfolio positioning across other strategies.
• Communicate investment views through quarterly commentaries, webinars, and meetings with financial advisers and clients.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of professional investment experience, including a minimum of 5 years on the buyside.
• Strong preference for portfolio management experience and/or experience analyzing growth companies.
• Alignment with hirify.global’s equity investment philosophy and approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and interest in learning about new industries and companies.
• Excellent critical thinking focused on company analysis and valuation.
• Bachelor’s degree; CFA designation strongly preferred.
