Lead Accountant, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting

hirify.global is establishing Trinzic as an independent public company through the planned separation of its Mission Technology Solutions business to serve government and commercial missions.

What you will do

• Prepare and support the review of SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
• Coordinate the collection, validation, and analysis of financial and non-financial reporting information.
• Draft and maintain financial statement footnotes, disclosures, and supporting documentation.
• Research and apply U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements to complex transactions and disclosure matters.
• Support earnings materials, XBRL reporting, disclosure controls, and SOX compliance activities.
• Coordinate with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, internal auditors, external auditors, and other stakeholders to improve reporting processes and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or SEC reporting experience.
• Experience preparing or supporting SEC filings in a public company environment.
• Experience applying U.S. GAAP to complex accounting and reporting matters.
• Experience with SEC reporting tools, financial reporting systems, and consolidation platforms such as Oracle SmartView or HFM.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to collaborate across functions and mentor junior team members.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience with XBRL reporting and SEC filing technologies.
• Experience with SOX and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Experience in government contracting or another highly regulated industry.
