Head of SEC Reporting (Finance)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office

Salary: $138,100–$276,200 base salary per year, with potential performance-based incentives

What you will do

• Lead the planning, drafting, review, and filing of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other applicable SEC filings.
• Own the SEC reporting calendar and coordinate cross-functional inputs for accurate, on-time delivery.
• Oversee XBRL tagging and final production using internal systems or platforms such as Workiva.
• Manage disclosure controls and procedures, tie-out controls, documentation, traceability, and quality assurance.
• Monitor SEC and FASB developments, peer filings, comment letters, and market practices to improve disclosures and reduce comment risk.
• Partner with Legal, the Disclosure Committee, Investor Relations, external auditors, and accounting, tax, treasury, FP&A, consolidation, and internal reporting teams.

Requirements

• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive SEC or external reporting experience, ideally in a large accelerated filer or complex public company environment.
• Expert knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting and disclosure requirements.
• Strong financial statement footnote writing, editing, judgment, accuracy, and deadline-management skills.
• Experience with SEC reporting platforms such as Workiva, large ERP or consolidation environments, complex corporate structures, SEC filing audits, and DCP or tie-out controls.
