Senior Manager, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting

What you will do

• Lead preparation and review of consolidated annual and quarterly financial statements, SEC disclosures, and monthly management reporting.
• Analyze complex and non-routine accounting matters and prepare technical accounting memoranda documenting conclusions and disclosure implications.
• Monitor U.S. GAAP, SEC rulemaking, and industry reporting practices, leading related policy, disclosure, and process changes.
• Coordinate with Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, external auditors, and executive leadership on audits, quarterly reviews, audit committee deliverables, and reporting matters.
• Design, implement, document, and monitor financial reporting controls supporting SOX compliance and reliable external reporting.
• Improve close processes, reporting workpapers, accounting policies, controls, and Oracle Cloud ERP reporting structures and outputs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience in public accounting auditing SEC registrants, SEC registrant financial reporting or technical accounting, or a combination.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• CPA certification required upon hire.
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, disclosure controls, and SOX.
• Experience leading complex accounting matters, SEC reporting deliverables, cross-functional projects, and reviews of others’ work.
• Strong analytical, research, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
