Warehouse Supervisor (Supply Chain)

Location: Alsip, Illinois, United States. Onsite work in a production and warehouse setting, Friday through Sunday from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; occasional travel is required.

Salary: $58,500–$73,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive plan.

What you will do

• Manage receiving, shipping, inventory, and warehouse operations to meet safety, productivity, quality, customer service, cost, and profitability objectives.
• Direct shipping and receiving orders, including truck loading, material inspections, and reconciliation of shipping notices and bills of materials.
• Manage dock traffic and ensure logistics suppliers follow applicable policies and procedures.
• Maintain inventories of work-in-process products, finished goods, shipping materials, and supplies; direct cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet internal and external on-time-delivery requirements.
• Lead staffing, training, employee relations, performance management, operational metrics, and continuous improvement for the shipping and receiving team.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting required.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, inventory management, and the movement of goods and materials.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships and transactions involving raw materials or product components.
• Ability to work in a production or warehouse environment with frequent walking and standing, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
