Manufacturing Coordinator, Fluid Systems - Second Shift

Location: Onsite in Long Beach, California, United States. Second shift: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM. Evening and weekend work may be required for critical mission milestones.

Pay range: $18–$30 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Coordinate and monitor tubes and fittings through bending, welding, proof, NDE, and quality operations.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, procurement, supply chain, and quality teams to stage materials, components, tooling, and hardware kits.
• Track work orders, hardware readiness, build status, assembly activities, and upcoming production requirements.
• Identify and escalate material shortages, tooling constraints, quality holds, and documentation gaps affecting schedules.
• Maintain accurate reports and tracking-system records while aligning priorities and capacity with the Master Scheduler and manufacturing leadership.
• Ensure careful handling, packaging, documentation, and smooth handoff of completed hardware to downstream activities and storage.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb unassisted.
• Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends when required by mission milestones.
• Must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing under U.S. export-control requirements.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of experience with MRP/ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• At least 2 years of Smartsheet experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a self-starting approach.
