Fabrication Operator Lead (Manufacturing)

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Compensation: $23.90–$44.40 per hour

What you will do

• Provide daily operational support, mentoring, and on-the-job training for fabrication team members.
• Partner with the Production Supervisor and support teams to resolve issues and achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Maintain production flow by covering line operations during breaks, paid time off, and absences.
• Coordinate employee training and enforce company, departmental, safety, standard-work, and quality policies.
• Operate assigned-area equipment, including CRTs and forklifts.
• Lead Lean, Kaizen, continuous improvement, 5S, and waste-reduction activities while promoting a strong safety culture.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of production or manufacturing experience.
• Established proficiency in Lean manufacturing and sustained improvement.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards, and internet-based systems.
• Strong knowledge of assigned production processes, communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet the physical and environmental demands of a manufacturing position, with reliable attendance and adaptability.
• Ability to work onsite in Anoka, Minnesota, on the 2nd shift.
