Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in St. Petersburg, Florida, United States; second shift. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Base compensation: $67,067–$100,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing operations during the assigned second shift, meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Plan labor allocation, schedules, and overtime while monitoring production performance and communicating shift results.
• Coach, evaluate, and develop production and logistics personnel through onboarding, training, feedback, and performance management.
• Drive equipment efficiency, order throughput, customer fulfillment, continuous improvement, and operational cost control.
• Maintain quality, safety, and inventory accuracy by applying the QMS, conducting audits, investigating accidents, and approving quality documentation.
• Manage manufacturing supplies, Kanban programs, ERP transactions, inventory discrepancies, and light material handling including forklift operation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with an ERP system and supporting internal or external Quality or EHS audits.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment design and utilization.
• Strong knowledge of quality control systems and manufacturing best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, with strong communication, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to lead teams, drive process adoption, control costs, reduce waste, and hold employees accountable for performance.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• In-depth working knowledge of SAP MM-PP.
