Sr Business Analyst

Location: Remote within Tennessee, with travel to the Memphis campus for interviews and/or orientation and on-site work for one week per quarter or as requested by business needs.

Salary: $86,320–$154,960 per year.

What you will do

• Serve as an analyst and liaison for the ERA system, including support, enhancements, and user coordination.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for operational and executive insights.
• Validate enterprise data warehouse information and support data integration and reporting.
• Coordinate system and process redesign initiatives and ongoing performance improvements.
• Guide and support end users across grants and sponsored projects functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
• At least four years of experience in a comparable client-facing IT role.
• Experience with structured Software Development Lifecycle methodologies.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements, user stories, and process flows.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical or system requirements and work with mid- to senior-level business leaders.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder engagement, and root-cause analysis skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Experience in pharma, healthcare, biotech, academic, or research administration environments.
• Knowledge of ERA systems and grants management processes.
• Proficiency in Power BI, data analysis and reporting tools, and data warehouses.
