Senior Business Technical Analyst (SAS)

Salary: $87,700–$157,800 per year

What you will do

• Serve as a SAS subject matter expert across requirements gathering, system analysis, technical design, programming, and documentation.
• Design and implement complex SAS processes, ad hoc reports, and robust multi-user, real-time database solutions.
• Analyze business processes, requirements, and operational trends to automate processing and improve business applications.
• Conduct data analysis and validation, optimize SAS performance, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Evaluate the financial impact of data and process issues and recommend technical solutions to management.
• Monitor departmental project progress, identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and guide staff through training and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant technical experience.
• 4+ years of technical experience with SAS, SQL, and Snowflake.
• 1+ year of technical experience with Databricks.
• 4+ years of ETL pipeline creation experience.
• 3+ years of related business analysis experience.
• Must be based in Missouri, United States, for the remote role.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience.
• SAS certification.
