Supervisor - Mechanical Production (Evening Shift)

Location: Auckland, New Zealand; onsite evening shift, Monday–Thursday, 15:00–01:30

What you will do

• Lead and supervise up to 20 production technicians to meet quality standards and production schedules.
• Assign workflow, delegate daily tasks, and manage resources to support production rate increases.
• Own health and safety within the area and ensure manufacturing procedures are followed.
• Maintain quality standards, authorize the release of flight components, and report daily team metrics.
• Manage the team skills matrix and ensure required training and certifications are completed.
• Conduct root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, support R&D and pre-production manufacturing, and develop leadership capabilities in direct reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma, NCEA Level 2 with at least 60 credits, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• At least 3 years of quality assurance inspection experience in aviation or aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience aligning production capacity with forecasts and managing resources to meet changing production rates.
• Demonstrated ability to develop leadership skills in direct reports.
• Eligibility to access equipment and data regulated by U.S. ITAR is required for New Zealand office roles; nationality checks and background checks will be completed before an offer.
