Production Supervisor (Machine Shop)

Location: Onsite in New Port Richey, Florida, United States. Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required.

What you will do

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations in an aerospace machine shop to meet production, quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with production planners, oversee floor stock activities and transactions, and manage work order closeout.
• Apply the hirify.global Business System, maintain visual production management tools, report metrics, and lead daily management activities.
• Ensure compliance with GMP rules, product documentation, specifications, SOPs, and aerospace customer requirements.
• Support safety and quality commitments and make operational decisions within the value stream.
• Manage associate performance, attendance, training, recognition, feedback, corrective actions, and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2 years of manufacturing experience, or at least 7 years of manufacturing management experience.
• Experience managing cost, quality, and schedule in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of machine shop tools and equipment, GMPs, and regulatory guidelines applicable to aerospace manufacturing.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze production data, identify process improvements, and determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including presenting information to groups and senior management.
• Computer proficiency, including required experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Nice to have

• SAP experience.
• Previous aerospace manufacturing experience.
