Product Manager (Applied AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid arrangement with 4 days in person and Fridays remote.

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Build trusted day-to-day relationships with customers, lead discovery, synthesize feedback, and set expectations.
• Define AI product opportunities, problem statements, user journeys, success metrics, requirements, PRDs, workflows, and evaluation criteria.
• Coordinate small engineering pods of 2–5 engineers and a senior product manager to ship multiple AI products.
• Own delivery operations, track progress, coordinate stakeholders, run execution rhythms, and proactively manage risks.
• Support early customer and sales conversations by identifying pain points, solution approaches, and expansion opportunities.
• Drive rollout, enablement, change management, adoption, and long-term customer impact.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in product, consulting, or implementations, with emphasis on demonstrated impact rather than job titles.
• Experience building and shipping products with engineers and designers across multiple delivery cycles.
• Ability to run stand-ups, planning, tracking, and retrospectives effectively.
• Strong structured problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and ability to turn ambiguity into clear plans.
• Bias for action, ownership, comfort with customer-facing work under pressure, and ability to manage incomplete information.
• Curiosity about AI and willingness to learn quickly and use AI extensively in daily work.

Nice to have

• Experience working with enterprise customers and ambiguous, high-intensity projects.
• Hands-on ability to write a basic SQL query, draft support documentation, or contribute to executive demos.
