Product Manager (Robotics)

Location: San Carlos, California, United States; on-site

Salary: $225,000–$275,000 per year, plus equity opportunities.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end product strategy and prioritized roadmap for the developer platform.
• Improve customer confidence and adoption by helping commercial and consumer customers succeed on the platform.
• Lead the evolution of platform APIs and services while maintaining reliability and backward compatibility for customers.
• Simplify complex robotics technology into secure, intuitive product experiences.
• Partner with the partnerships organization to understand customer needs and shape long-term platform plans.
• Build and mentor product managers while improving product documentation and written communication.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience, including end-to-end ownership of a platform product.
• Experience building developer or infrastructure platforms used by external customers.
• Experience leading and developing product managers as a Group Product Manager, Director, or product lead running a pod.
• Experience improving APIs while customers actively depend on them.
• Ability to set and defend a prioritized roadmap based on customer outcomes and technical constraints.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in engineering or design before moving into product management.
• Experience with hardware and software products shipped together.
• Familiarity with products serving small and medium-sized businesses.
• Experience founding or building an early-stage company.
