Production Assistant (Full-Time) - New York, NY

Location: On-site in New York, NY; must be local to the New York area or able to commute.

Produces high-volume e-commerce photography and video content for leading retail brands.

What you will do

• Set up, break down, maintain, and troubleshoot photography and video equipment.
• Assist photographers, stylists, producers, and studio teams during active shoots.
• Execute floor sets, production transitions, and set resets between shoots.
• Prepare, move, steam, hang, and pack merchandise while supporting inventory flow.
• Coordinate equipment rentals, shipping, receiving, deliveries, and package handling.
• Track workflows, maintain studio readiness, and help keep productions on schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of studio equipment and safe handling procedures.
• Strong organization, time management, attention to detail, and collaboration skills.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods and frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs, with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be local to the New York area or able to commute; consistent on-site presence is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in photo or video production, creative studios, or e-commerce environments.
• Hands-on experience with photography, lighting, or grip equipment.
• Experience with workflow tools.
