PEP, Technical Associate (Freelance)

Location: Full-time on-site at a hirify.global-designated worksite in New York City, United States, supporting two remote studio locations.

Compensation: $30/hour

What you will do

• Perform multiple studio crew functions supporting live daily programming.
• Support talent and guests before and during live broadcasts.
• Maintain studio readiness through lighting support, set effects, cable management, equipment organization, and set aesthetics.
• Operate wireless production equipment and support Panasonic P2 camera workflows.
• Prepare, manage, and troubleshoot microphones, IFBs, and other audio equipment.
• Prioritize production requests and respond calmly and accurately as live-production needs change.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to perform effectively in a time-sensitive live television production environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests, remain composed under pressure, and adapt quickly.
• Willingness to learn new production technologies and workflows.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in New York City is required.
