Creative Services Videographer (Video Production)

Television media organization operating the WOOD TV8 station in Grand Rapids.

What you will do

• Create on-brand station promos, lifestyle segments, long-form stories, and commercial advertisements.
• Produce, light, shoot, and edit video using professional production equipment.
• Produce client-sponsored promotional content and support commercial production projects.
• Assist with live field production, promotional events, and live broadcasts.
• Coordinate assigned work with the Executive Producer of Local Programming and the Director of Sales.
• Deliver projects on time in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

• Ability to produce, shoot, and edit video.
• Proficiency with Adobe Suite, Premiere, Microsoft, and other computer software applications.
• Working knowledge of lighting equipment and audio gear.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, teamwork, and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure during live broadcasts and lift cameras, tripods, lights, and other equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and a reel of work examples required; an associate’s degree or related production experience is preferred.
