Principal Software Engineer, PSA CX (Python)

Location: US - Remote; candidates must be able to work legally in the United States.

What you will do

• Design and develop new cloud-based software architectures.
• Own complete features from architecture and implementation through testing, deployment, and production release.
• Design and contribute to APIs supporting web and mobile user experiences.
• Review technical designs, proposals, and code while collaborating with Engineering, Product, Design, and cross-functional teams.
• Analyze applications and databases, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop unit and integration tests and contribute to technical documentation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of industry experience building backend software, including exposure to microservices, event-driven architectures, and batch processing.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Strong database and data-modeling fundamentals with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS technologies including Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and API Gateway.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and infrastructure as code using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, security, monitoring, documentation, and Agile/Scrum skills.
