Engineer Sr Software (Python)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Python automation tools for telecom OSS/BSS operations.
• Design and integrate OpenAPI-compliant RESTful APIs across network elements, business applications, and external systems.
• Build event-driven microservices and use Apache Kafka for real-time messaging and streaming.
• Automate service provisioning, network management, billing, monitoring, and operational data processing.
• Ensure API security, scalability, and high availability while troubleshooting third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with network engineers, DevOps specialists, and software architects on automation workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Python development experience focused on automation, APIs, and system integration.
• Strong experience with OSS/BSS platforms and telecom network architecture, service orchestration, and business processes.
• Proficiency in OpenAPI/Swagger, REST, gRPC, WebSockets, microservices, event-driven architectures, and message queues.
• Hands-on Apache Kafka experience, including producers, consumers, topics, schemas, and streaming.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-based telecom solutions, OAuth2, JWT, and API security.

Nice to have

• Experience with OSS/BSS process automation, TM Forum standards, and zero-touch provisioning.
• Experience with Kafka Streams, Flink, or Spark Streaming.
• Familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD tools, Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.
