Electrical Systems Designer Associate

Location: hirify.global, Wisconsin, United States. The role combines office-based work with physical activity in field or production environments.

Pay range: $57,600–$90,400 per year

What you will do

• Update existing drawings from engineering markups and re-master CAD drawings into the current format.
• Create 2D and 3D layouts for parts and small assemblies using computer-aided drafting systems.
• Check drawings for accuracy, organization, dimensions, tolerances, and compliance with CAD standards.
• Prepare Change Notice documents based on bills of materials and design layouts.
• Create ERP part numbers and maintain required naming and data-entry information.
• Create and review bills of materials and provide technical support for prototypes, pilots, and production.

Requirements

• Associate degree in drafting or design with four years of relevant experience, or at least eight years of drafting or design experience without a degree.
• Ability to use CAD tools and standard Windows Office tools, including SharePoint and email.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, adaptability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in office, field, and production settings, including standing, walking across shop floors, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or equivalent with five years of drafting or design experience.
