CNC Machinist

Location: Solon, Ohio, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC, ACME, and Tool & Die equipment to produce machined parts from blueprints, layouts, templates, and work instructions.
• Plan operation sequences based on material properties and operate multiple machines as needed.
• Inspect materials and work in process using micrometers, calipers, scales, and fixed gauges.
• Complete quality checks and production documentation while reporting defective materials, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions.
• Install and verify job-specific safety devices, move materials, and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and support production requirements, including occasional extended shifts or work weeks.

Requirements

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Experience following work instructions or reading blueprints.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment and meet operational deadlines.
• Prior experience in a light industrial facility is preferred.
