Machine Operator CNC

Location: Onsite at the Bedford manufacturing facility in Bedford, Pennsylvania, United States. Third shift: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.; overtime is required.

What you will do

• Prepare and secure materials for CNC production.
• Read blueprints, specifications, work orders, schematics, and technical bulletins to determine operating sequences.
• Set and adjust machine controls to regulate machining operations.
• Inspect parts, detect malfunctions, and adjust processes to maintain specifications and quality.
• Troubleshoot equipment, complete preventive maintenance, and coordinate repairs when needed.
• Complete production and quality logs and support other manufacturing areas as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read prints, schematics, and technical bulletins.
• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math.
• Strong attention to detail, safety, quality, attendance, and punctuality.
• Ability to solve problems, use sound judgment, lift 50 pounds, and stand for long periods.
• Satisfactory background check and negative drug screen required; the role is safety-sensitive and subject to drug and alcohol testing.

Nice to have

• Basic Microsoft Office and Windows knowledge.
• Experience or skills applicable to CNC machine operation.
