CNC Machinist 3rd Shift

Location: West Carrollton, Ohio, United States; on-site, 3rd shift

What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC and Swiss turning machines to produce precision machined parts.
• Assist with CNC setup and program prove-out using basic G-codes and presetting tools.
• Load and unload parts, verify tool lists, and make necessary tool adjustments.
• Inspect finished workpieces against specifications using CMMs, calipers, micrometers, comparators, and vision systems.
• Use work orders, blueprints with GD&T, sketches, and written or verbal instructions to complete production tasks.
• Enter production information in the Camstar MES platform, report machine status, and collaborate with engineering, quality control, and programming teams to resolve machining problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints with GD&T.
• Understanding of CNC machine operation, setup, and programming concepts.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 pounds and performing bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and balancing tasks.
