Engineer I (Telecommunications)

Location: Hybrid position in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

What you will do

• Create AutoCAD engineering drawings for telecommunications site builds, modifications, upgrades, and fiber optic networks.
• Support project teams with assigned design responsibilities and prioritize tasks through completion.
• Maintain CAD standards and templates.
• Learn client-specific telecommunications equipment, conduit design standards, and construction methods.
• Review blueprints, construction drawings, plans, and site documentation.
• Evaluate designs for constructability and produce accurate drawings efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience producing engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Autodesk Inventor.
• Ability to work autonomously and complete CAD drawings independently.
• Ability to review site documentation and gather the information needed for assignments.
