Sr Maintenance Mechanic - Aerospace

Location: Lynnwood, Washington, United States; onsite manufacturing environment. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with some weekend and extended hours based on equipment availability and production needs. Where controlled data or information access is required, only US Persons will be considered under ITAR requirements.

Salary: $34.52–$44.62 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Repair, modify, improve, install, align, and overhaul manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Perform work involving mechanical maintenance, pipefitting, plumbing, machining, welding, millwright activities, and repair of rotating and reciprocating machinery.
• Design, fabricate, install, and modify custom tools, equipment, plumbing, and tooling in collaboration with facilities, manufacturing engineering, operators, and maintenance personnel.
• Execute preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and lifecycle.
• Estimate and manage maintenance projects, including time and materials, and maintain accurate records in maintenance management software.
• Provide leadership, technical support, training, and feedback for maintenance and facilities improvement activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience repairing industrial and manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of journeyman-level mechanics, engineering principles, machinist mathematics, design drawings, metallurgy, and welding.
• Experience with mechanical design and fabrication, machine repair and rebuilding, machining tools, mills, lathes, welders, saws, grinders, benders, and related equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 25 feet, lift up to 50 pounds, push up to 75 pounds, and perform physically demanding industrial work.
• US Person eligibility may be required for controlled data access under ITAR.
