Maintenance Journey (Aerospace Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Install, adjust, troubleshoot, and repair motors, gearboxes, rigging, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, compressors, pumps, lubrication systems, valves, pipes, and fluid-control devices.
• Maintain multi-axis CNC machinery, controls, autoclaves, ovens, logic controllers, and analog instrumentation.
• Install and modify plant lighting and electrical systems, including outlets, breakers, junction boxes, fuses, and components up to 480V.
• Troubleshoot HVAC units, freezers, and industrial fans.
• Provide facility support through light plumbing, carpentry, welding, machining, and metal fabrication.
• Coordinate with equipment operators, internal work-order originators, and maintenance personnel on individual and combined electrical-mechanical projects.

Requirements

• Four years of recent journey-level mechanical experience in industrial maintenance and repair, including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and wiring instructions; familiarity with 480V, three-phase power, and industrial electrical systems.
• Knowledge of industrial motors, valves, switches, sensors, and belt and chain drive mechanisms.
• Experience with light carpentry, basic welding, and machining; own tools required.
• Must be certifiable for forklift, snorkel, and scissor lift operation and understand industrial lockout/tagout procedures.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, permanent resident, certain temporary resident, refugee, or asylee. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights or in confined spaces, work outdoors in all weather, and cover any shift and occasional overtime or emergency response.
