AI Product Owner - Corporate Functions (AI)

What you will do

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI and automation opportunities based on business value, feasibility, risk, and strategic alignment.
• Define product vision, target users, workflows, roadmaps, priorities, success measures, and expected business outcomes.
• Lead discovery through prototypes, workflow simulations, data exploration, user testing, vendor assessments, and lightweight experiments.
• Translate business needs into product requirements, user stories, success criteria, acceptance criteria, and AI quality expectations.
• Manage the backlog, lead business validation and user acceptance testing, and make product acceptance decisions.
• Monitor adoption, AI performance, realized value, user feedback, and risks while prioritizing continuous improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting corporate functions in oil and gas or another regulated industry.
• Experience leading cross-functional technology, process improvement, or business transformation initiatives.
• Experience translating business needs into requirements, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience with enterprise business, data, or reporting systems.
• Experience delivering AI, machine learning, automation, data, or analytics products from concept through adoption.

Nice to have

• Product Owner experience with roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria in an Agile environment.
• Experience with AI-enabled product discovery, prototyping, user testing, workflow simulation, data exploration, or lightweight experimentation.
• Knowledge of AI model evaluation, enterprise data practices, responsible AI governance, and risk controls.
• Experience leading digital transformation or change adoption across multiple corporate functions.
• Experience with SAP, Workday, Enverus, Bloomberg, Snowflake, or Power BI.
