Repair Technician (Welding Equipment)

Location: Boston, MA, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Salary: $27–$30 per hour

Industrial, medical, and specialty gas supplier providing welding equipment, safety products, and related services across the United States.

What you will do

• Repair, refurbish, restore, and maintain electric and engine-driven welding equipment and generators.
• Assemble electric, diesel, gas, and propane equipment for rental.
• Test and calibrate machines, inspect returned equipment, and complete preventive maintenance.
• Order and organize parts, using a forklift, pallet jack, or other shop equipment as needed.
• Repaint equipment parts, apply touch-ups and decals, and maintain a clean, organized shop.
• Complete repair documentation and occasionally provide on-site service and equipment guidance to customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Thoroughness, care in technical work, and solid organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work with autonomy while staying aligned with team goals.

Nice to have

• 0–1 years of related technical experience; early-career and career-transition candidates are welcome.
• Working knowledge of power-generating and welding equipment.
• Equipment repair and maintenance training.
