Principal Instrument Technician (Industrial Gases)

What you will do

• Provide technical support to customers in the field.
• Service and repair equipment requiring electrical and mechanical skills.
• Calibrate and maintain analytical equipment, including gas analyzers and electrical equipment.
• Custom-build and retrofit equipment using equipment drawings and manuals.
• Prepare on-demand rental equipment for customers and plant sites in a fast-paced environment.
• Track equipment rentals, calibrations, and inventory through data entry and database maintenance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a laboratory or equivalent environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to apply electricity and electronics theory to repair and rebuild equipment.
• Safe and proficient use of hand and power tools, with compliance with all safety, health, and environmental requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

• Hands-on experience with gases, chemicals, and analytical equipment.
