Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 3rd shift. Schedule: 4 days on / 4 days off, 7:45 PM–6:15 AM.

Compensation: $17.20–$31.90 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour for this shift and a typical hourly wage of $26.00 or more depending on experience.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, and documentation for production equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical machinery, including emergency breakdown repairs.
• Move, install, anchor, and align production equipment.
• Fabricate and construct equipment components and support structures using maintenance tools and welding equipment.
• Maintain spare-parts ihirify.globalory and coordinate material requirements for maintenance projects.
• Partner with production leaders and supervisors, follow safety procedures, and support continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience using computers and common software applications.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to weld using stick and wire-feed methods and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and obtain forklift and company vehicle licenses.

Nice to have

• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with production equipment and machinery.
• Experience using hand tools, torches, drill presses, cut-off saws, and iron workers.
