Supervisor - Cyber M&A Diligence (Cybersecurity)

Location: New York, United States; travel required, approximately 30%

Salary: $101,000–$203,000 per year, plus discretionary performance bonus

What you will do

• Deliver complex client cyber diligence engagements for private equity and corporate strategic buyers.
• Analyze and assess vulnerabilities across infrastructure and applications, including software, hardware, and networks.
• Investigate security tools and countermeasures, then recommend remediation solutions and best practices.
• Communicate with CTOs, CIOs, technology operating partners, and other senior client stakeholders.
• Support technology planning and strategy during complex transitions.
• Deliver timely, responsive work products that meet or exceed client expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4–7 years of professional experience.
• Experience supporting IT application or infrastructure initiatives.
• Understanding of IT security best practices and frameworks, including ISO 27001/2 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Understanding of network and system security across major computing environments and internet technologies.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% and maintain scheduling flexibility during active diligence phases.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS and software security.
• Experience with WAF, IAM, and email security.
• Knowledge of PCI, CMMC, HIPAA, or GDPR.
• Progress toward relevant certifications.
