Sr. Manager - IT Security (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead Network Security and Infrastructure Security teams, establishing operating models, ownership, performance measures, and multi-year technology roadmaps.
• Govern enterprise security platforms and architectures covering firewalls, SD-WAN, WAF, IDS/IPS, segmentation, cloud network security, IAM, PAM, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and NDR.
• Modernize firewall and SD-WAN services, including policy governance, rule optimization, VPN/NAT standards, high availability, monitoring, logging, and change validation.
• Define secure connectivity and segmentation patterns across enterprise, cloud, remote-access, site-to-site, and third-party environments.
• Drive operational resiliency, incident-response partnership, vulnerability remediation, audit support, risk assessments, compliance evidence, and continuous control improvement.
• Lead managers, technical leads, and individual contributors while managing vendors, service performance, budgets, hiring, mentoring, and succession planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, engineering, or a related field, plus at least 10 years of relevant experience; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• At least five years as a Technology Manager with direct people leadership and accountability for service delivery, operating model maturity, and multi-team execution.
• Demonstrated enterprise experience across network and infrastructure security in a large, complex environment.
• Strong knowledge of firewall policy lifecycle management, segmentation, VPN/NAT governance, high availability, monitoring, logging, change validation, and audit evidence.
• Experience managing enterprise security platforms such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco, Akamai WAF, Zscaler, CyberArk, or ExtraHop.
• Must work on-site in Orange, Connecticut; travel within the United States and to Europe may be required. Candidates must meet applicable immigration requirements to work in the vacancy country.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in IT, cybersecurity, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• Fortinet FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and Secure SD-WAN experience.
• Relevant certifications in network security, firewall, SD-WAN, cybersecurity, infrastructure security, identity security, or IT service management.
