Measurement Technician, Level 1-4 (Natural Gas and Liquid Measurement)

Location: Onsite in Amarillo, Texas, United States. Travel, shift work, confined-space access, elevated-platform work, and work in extreme weather conditions may be required.

What you will do

• Install, inspect, test, adjust, maintain, operate, repair, calibrate, and remove measurement, control, regulation, SCADA, and quality equipment.
• Monitor gas and liquid volumes, detect measurement errors, apply corrections, and maintain supporting documentation.
• Interpret electrical and electronic schematics for EFM and measurement electronics.
• Audit custody-transfer and control data and maintain accurate product measurement records.
• Oversee third-party construction and maintenance activities while identifying and correcting safety and environmental concerns.
• Complete required documentation and perform work in line with company standards, regulations, tariffs, and operational goals.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Basic computer and mathematics skills, including Microsoft Office, operating systems, company software, fractions, and decimals.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, electronic test instruments, mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic measurement equipment.
• Knowledge of safe handling practices for flammable gases, liquids, and high-pressure systems, as well as gas and liquid chromatography.
• Knowledge of AGA, API, and GPA measurement standards.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to meet company insurability requirements, effective English communication, troubleshooting skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
